First ,I want to thank the staff at Downard and Associates for always being nice to me when I called to ask questions. They tried to always be helpful in answering any questions I had. Even if they wasn't sure on something they would always try and be helpful and try to calm my nerves.
Also, I want to extend a thank you to my attorney, Ray Akers, who was always nice and helped me so much. Even after my hearing he called and spent time going over my case and answering any questions I had. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND!!!! They are ridiculously unprofessional, two weeks before my hearing I got a letter in the mail saying they was dropping me as a client with no explanation whatsoever! I only ever got to talk to them a handful times on the phone,never got to met in person. And the woman always told me she was too busy to call back later. No one forced them to take my case if they didn't want it they didn't have to take it in the beginning now after 2 years of being with them and two weeks before my hearing and they dropped me, it may not be important to them but is very important to me this is my life they're messing with. Now I either have to find a lawyer at the last minute or go to my hearing by myself.
