Brad Frakes was my FOURTH family law attorney. The first attorney lied to me (and I caught her). The second one was great but outside of my budget. The third one missed a court date and then suddenly moved and dumped all of her clients. Then I found Brad. He was the youngest, greenest attorney of all of them (at that time) and turned out to be the most honest, reliable, and dependable attorney in my experience. Now years of experience later, he continues to impress me with his work ethic and desire to help others. I gladly recommend Brad anytime I know of someone in need of a Family Law Attorney.
I have read all the reviews posted before mine and I wonder if they had the same attorney I retained. My matter was not complicated but I felt that having an attorney would be better than not having one. As it turned out I probably could have done a better job without him. He said things in court that were not discussed in our consultation. I was blindsided. The judge ruled in favor of the opposition and I believe it was because of the misrepresentation. Needless to say, my family was shocked and devastated by this. I fully understand following the law - I also fully understand representing your client. He did not do a good job for me and my family. As ridiculous as it sounds, it almost seems as if he had a soft spot for my opposition and felt that my "request" was wrong. If that were really true, he should have refused to take my money and then "pretend" to represent me.
