We had 5 camping sites and 3 cabins with our family. But we did not enjoy the staff at this campsite. They were very rude! The kids had a great time and admit that the activities for them are great but that is about the only thing that was good from this camping trip. First, once we arrived all but 1 of our families got charged more because there had been a price change AFTER we had already reserved and paid for for all of our sites and cabins on 01/14/17. When we asked why we were charged more they said that the new prices were not put in yet when we reserved, sorry that's not our fault and that means you lost that money, but them knowing that pulling a trailer and driving from 4 states over that we didn't really have much of a choice got away with it. Second, The staff fly through the park on their golf carts pulling up all the dust with no regard to children that may be running in between the campers. Third, inflated prices on everything 1 bundle of wood cost $10!! Fourth, we had an issue with the AC in one of the cabins and the maintenance staff was very rude about it and acted like we just decided to break it. He literally raised his voice and said "this is a brand unit, it shouldn't have done this unless something happened to it", to the guest. Keep the shop talk to yourself when your frustrated with a guest at the park. The manager in the office is just as rude and it almost seems like she gets enjoyment out of getting people all worked up, a little too into her power, I'd say. Overall, we will not be coming back and we will tell everyone we know that they shouldn't come either.
Shame on you for issuing a bogus press release claiming that you're being victimized over your dancing Christmas lights. As someone who lives 2 miles from your establishment, I can attest to the fact that once it gets dark, I'm a prisoner in my own home. You had every chance to file a permit and traffic plan rather than relying on taxpayer money to do it for you, but you didn't. Your behavior at the town meeting was abysmal. You don't care about the families who live in the area or the other business owners around you (who have also complained). You don't care about the dangerous traffic situations you create. All you care about is money. Simply put, you are being a bad neighbor.
Visited in the off season, nice quiet. Fit a 44 foot motorhome in no problem. Convenient shuttle picks you up at entrance.
With a wonderful staff and a small park for children to play this was a great place to spend the holiday. They were very accommodating, letting our group stay as close together as possible which couldn't have been easy as our group consisted of multiple cabins, campers, and tents.the bathrooms were kept clean and fresh. The only problem came with the gate pass which had to be replaced repeatedly due to technical issues. All in all would definitely go back again.
Nice and quiet. Pretty location. Cabins are nice, but check the dishware before you use them.
