At the very least, they can still make decent coffee. Just don't expect good customer service or any modicum of speed. I once had to sit waiting at the drive-thru for a worker to finish their smoke break...
Okay, I’m only giving 5 stars as I would not know what to do without coffee and also the staff are friendly and courteous.
Went at 9 pm for the 1.99 special hot chocolate. I saw the 2 employees seating down and they saw me pull up. They never came over to server me so I finally left. Fyi I did look at the store hours posted on their window and the hours said till 10pm. The good thing about it was I decided to try Krispy Kream and their hot chocolate is much better. Skip DD and go to KK
Customer service not what it once was. Came in and cashier was helping a customer, so I got into line right behind her. Just as he finished waiting on her, he announces his shift was over, and the other ladies at the drive thru will help me. Well, they did, but they didn't offer to slice the bagels, or ask what kinds of donuts or bagels I wanted. Not my worst customer service experience but definitely not my best either.
Short handed staff. They were running out of products. However, they kept their cool and provided the best service they could. Hence the 4 star. The positive attitude of the cashiers made want to come back and try on a less chaotic day.
I have one issue that I really wish would be addressed. I just recently moved to the area and I’m currently a night driver. Where I lived there was a coffee shop ALWAYS open 24/7. There are people up all hours of the night that depend on on these establishments to be open when they need them to be. Not only am I shocked about DD not being open, but the Nashville area is a city with lots of people who work nights. There are more than enough DD’s in this area that one or all of them should be open. I’m venting as it’s upsetting to know this is one of the only cities I know that that sleeps after a certain time of the week. Let’s go Nashville. Accommodate the people who works nights. We have to stay awake, too. Have a good one!
