I was completely surprised at how unprofessional Evan was based on the previous reviews. I arrived ten minutes early to our agreed upon meeting, only to find that he had forgotten our appointment entirely. Luckily he arrived about 15 minutes late, walked right by me waiting and only met with me briefly after I approached his office but he had no idea who I was or what I had told him about my tax situation via email. During our brief meeting, he mentioned how "young I was to have a business" which was not appropriate. I will say he completed my taxes extremely fast, he returned them next day. BUT with mistakes. He had written on the form for my taxes that they would be sent back to North Carolina...I'm from Kentucky and have never lived in NC. He admitted he did not change it from the previous persons he did, which obviously makes me suspicious that there were other errors that could have potentially cost me money. I will not be using his services next year. I understand everyone makes mistakes but my advice would be to buy an agenda and proof read.
Evan has done an amazing job as our CPA! He is always on top of his game and very easy to work with. The level of detail and attention he has given us is amazing. Very honest and knowledgeable. We will be using his services for years to come.
Despite no longer being a landlord, I have continued to use Evan as my CPA. He treats any client he is currently working with as his most important client. Whether it is accommodating to my schedule for any needed meetings or making sure to follow-up with any clarifications to help me get the most from my returns, Evan does a fantastic job and paying him back with my loyalty as a customer is the least I can do in return.
