I came in for rehab after a total hip replacement surgery but also had a new debilitating pain in my tailbone that no one could explain. There was no skeletal reason it should hurt, so Andrew started working to find a muscular cause. He gave me home exercises for my hip (it wasn't my first rodeo and I felt comfortable doing them by myself) and we focused instead on the strange tailbone pain during visits. I had limited time before a summer-long trip and was desperate for relief from the pain.
These guys are amazing! I was experiencing headaches/migraines from my line of work (dentistry) and Dr. Jeanfreau was able to work around my schedule to get me in the same day. Not only were they accommodating, he and his assistant were extremely skilled using both dry needling techniques and STEM treatment to provide me with quick relief. I felt an improvement in one session. I will certainly be returning! I highly recommend!
I strongly recommend Andrew for any pain you have, even if you haven't just had surgery. Your only regret will be that you waited so long to find him.
He taught me about trigger points and referred pain patterns, showing me photos so I could understand. We set out to find the ones affecting me with manual therapy. It took a few tries to pinpoint that my glutes had been injured in the surgery and were chock full of active trigger points. These were referring extreme pain to my tailbone. We worked twice a week and then three times per week to release them with dry needling when manual therapy wasn't enough. After 4 weeks, my pain is less than 5% of what it once was. Small enough that I didn't have to cancel my summer of watching movies in NYC.
I had a fantastic experience at Rehab Etc!! I have had upper back pain and tension for years and Andrew completely eliminated it with dry needling. Highly recommend!!
No one else believed me, no one else was patient enough to try something strange. Andrew did both. He maximized my limited visits to have the greatest effect and understood my specific needs and concerns (being able to sit through five movies a day for weeks on end).
I owe a great deal to Dr. Jeanfreau for seemingly magically curing the lower back pain that tormented me for two years. I went to orthopedic doctors and chiropractors to no avail. In desperation I called Rehab Etc and his combination of dry needling and traditional rehab completely cured my symptoms. I am extremely grateful and would always recommend him to everyone.
