A Pastor w/A Heart For People
When I lived in Nashville i found Temple was much like my homechurch very friendly, small church inside a large church,i do miss its been years since i been there i will there soon
The Temple Church Expo did it again. I enjoyed the vendors and the excitement in seeing the enthusiastic business owners.
It is an engulfing experience of worship everytime I fellowship. Beautiful welcoming people and the word is ever relevant.
I pulled into the gigantic empty parking lot there because I was turned around and needed to get directions on my phone. I pulled over as conspicuously as I possibly could have so they could see me from the window and know I wasn't up to anything. After about a minute a man came out and told me I couldn't be there. I didn't understand a lot of what he said but he mentioned something about me being white. I'm pretty sure I was just racially discriminated against. Besides what ever happened to the days when the church doors were open to everyone all the time? Little on the parking lot. I grew up going to a church in the inner city across from the James Cayce projects but I would never go to temple. Nor do I think I would be welcome.
